• 9'

Leashes that are 9 feet are made for longboards and SUPs. This type of 9´ leash is generally tied around the knee, since with these types of board the most common thing to do is walk around the longboard and this avoids getting tangled up with the leash.Inthe case of SUPs there are special leashes. Due to these boards having great volume and more dragging power compared with a shortboard, these leashes have to be thicker and be more resistant.

In this section you´ll find your knee leash for longboard and special leashes for paddle board.

 • Big Wave Leashes

To be able to surf big waves you´ll need a leash that’s longer than the board. Falling and tumbling in this type of waves is more common and that’s why we need a longer more robust leash to minimize the possibility of breakage or that the spring effect makes the board hit us.

Ocean & Earth is one of the best brands for this, and they have worked to make their big wave leashes robust and secure. This brand has three sizes: O&E Premium 15´0” ONE XT Big Wave, 10 feet and 12 feet. All of these include a security system for quick release and also a triple Velcro which is essential for all of those big wave riders.

 • SUP

SUP leashes or Paddle Board leashes are specially made for paddle board and rider safety.
