Al Merrick G Skate IN STOCK !
The collaboration between Britt Merrick and the three G's has paid off with this new, fast, skatey and responsive swallowtail design. All these features under your feet thanks to a lightweight single to double concave, low entry rocker, wide point forward and contemporary shortboard rail for precision control. The CI G-Skate will give you incredible speed.
what fins do we recommend for the CI G SKATE?
The recommended fins configuration is with set up of 2 + 1 fins. The brand recommends the fins AMT of Futures Fins. These fins give you that "free feeling of freedom" of a twinfin, but the refined control of a thruster, which has been one of the basic fundamentals that has been sought after with the creation of this surfboard.
Another combination in futures fins that we like very much if you are going to use the surfboard in twin fin, are the fins Son Of Cobra and the fins CI Britt Merrick, that we already recommended for the CI Twin Pin.
The 3 Gudauskas brothers: Dane, Patrick and Tanner have a different surfing style and thanks to this 2+1 configuration this surfboard is suitable for all kind of surfers.
If you buy the surfboard instead of Futures Finswith FCS2 configuration, we recommend the fins 2+1 from Mark Richards. Available in various colors.
for what kind of waves do we recommend the G SKATE from the Gudauskas brothers and Al Merrick?
The G-Skate serves as a strong utility piece in any quiver where fun and performance are the goal, especially considering that while it can be used as a twin fin as well as in a fins 2+1 configuration, it gives the surfer twice the options and value when choosing a surfboard surfboard.
The G-Skate sits just above your Bobby Quad and just below your Rocket Wide, but is well suited for dipping into the low-end wave range of the CI Bobby Quad and the higher wave range of the CI Rocket Wide.
what size surfboard G SKATE Channel Islands do we recommend?
Mount this surfboard 3" to 4" shorter than your usual surf surfboard and the same thickness as your CI Pro.
