Mayhem
Matt Biolos known as Mayhem comes to Single Quiver. Discover the Mayhem surfboards one of the best shapers in the world.
The Lost Surfboard brand began in 1985 with the now legendary shaper Matt Biolos and a group of school friends. They started the "team lost".
In 1987 Matt Biolos began sanding surfboards fresh out of high school. Adopting the name "Mayhem" (an ode to the second surfboard model he created). Matt Mayhem Biolos manufactured 20 boards in his first year. In his early days there weren't many people who were asking for "Mayhem" boards. So to make money he continued to sand surfboards and began to paint designs on them along with a LOST manuscript wherever he could. Surfers like Christian Fletcher and Matt Archbold were getting paint jobs from Biolos. Working with some of the biggest names in the California scene like Timmy Patterson, Jim Fuller, Terry Senate, and Randy Sleigh and getting feedback from the best surfers, their ability to shapear was able to develop and from there the Lost brand grew to become a worldwide phenomenon today.
Today Lost has become a prestigious brand of surfboards, t-shirts and clothing. Some of the surfboards are in the Top 10 best selling surfboards in the world. This is the case of the popular Mayhem surfboards such as the V3 Rocket and Puddle Jumper, two of its most popular models worldwide.
