A better construction: Innovative carbon inlays in the Endorfin add strength and flex that allow them to be built with a core composed of 90% pure air. As a result, the Endorfins not only provide optimal performance, but also literally float on the water.
FIN BOXES: Each set is constructed with a base that is compatible with either TWO BOARD FIN BOXES or SINGLE BOARD FIN BOXES. The Futures compatible base in Endorfins will function the same as a Futures built flipper with a Futures base. The FCSII compatible base will require two screws that will come with the fins. Endorfins with FCSII compatible bases will not click in or out.
THE MARK: The circle on the side of each Endorfins fin represents the flow. This is a new version of Kelly's iconic circular mark that has appeared on every fin he has previously sponsored, paying homage to the past and moving forward into the future.
THE ECOLOGICAL STORY: "Fuck the fins, not the ocean". Kelly has a hobby of collecting fins from the reef in front of his home in Hawaii. These fins are trash, abandoned on the ocean floor. By screwing our fins onto the surfboards - and the fact that they float - we prevent this from happening. In addition, we continue our commitment to Trees of the Sea, "erasing" the annual carbon footprint of our fin production by conserving kelp forest in California, protecting rainforest in Africa and planting mangroves in Indonesia.
