PYTHAGORAS SERIES

Swedish architect Sven Markelius was known for his sober geometric figures, often playing with repeated patterns and asymmetrical compositions, so it's not surprising that he found inspiration for his 'Pythagoras' textiles in the work of the Greek mathematician famous for his equations describing triangular shapes. Stacking fields of triangles of different shades with open-framed areas reminiscent of windows, these patterns create a prismatic color field that reveals the material behind it. With contours brought from the limits of progressive surfboard design, these models embrace the future without forgetting the past, raising the curtain on what lies ahead.

The swallow-diamond tail answers the question: what will the fish of the future look like? While the angled nose fixes the front foot for precise control and turns on this little beast.
