Maui native Kai Lenny defies easy categorization, having truly mastered so many disciplines on the board that to list them all seems impossible; Surf, Hydrofoil, Kite, Windsurf, Stand Up Paddle, Prone Paddle, Outrigger Canoe, Big Wave Tow-In and now Surfskate.
The first to do many things, break records and surpass the imaginable time and time again, this Surf Hall of Fame inductee is considered one of the best watermen in history.
So when we saw him skate his own Carver with his inimitable and daring style, we were thrilled. Kai is a true ambassador for aloha, and we're proud that he's helping to spread the excitement of surfskate with his sunny smile and feats.
Kai created this Lava pattern for his next surfboard and also wanted to use it on this mid-size mainstay, pressed in the Hyperspoon deep-dish poon nose mold.
