This is Gabriel Medina's favourite board for his freesurfing sessions. The legendary Hawaiian surfer-shaper Ben Aipa created the Sting design in 1974. To do this, he radically modified the edge of a board and added a side wing at mid-height to the shape. The result is a rather atypical design to date. A shorter board that offers more sensitivity to the new generation of hot-doggers. In view of the potential of this model, we combined the Aipa edge with a more modern keel position in the Sting. In this way, a radical board is created that goes beautifully in small waves.
